The Budapest Fashion Journal is a biannual fashion newspaper closely linked to the Hungarian event series, Fashion Week Budapest, founded by BigBag PR. The first issue was born in 2013. The concept was based on London Fashion Week's The LFW Daily but the content was much more international and diverse then its inspiration's. The Budapest Fashion Week dealt with Hungarian and also global issues concerning the fashion, beauty, design and the art world. We delivered news worth reading and made sure to bring information that no one has ever read before.

 

As the Managing Editor and one of the founders of the publication I had to oversee and coordinate the publication's editorial activities. I hired staff members like journalists, illustrators and photographers. I planned themes, content and photo shoots. I created and enforced the deadlines and I was supervising all activities and work in connection with the newspaper. I approved stories for the final copies. My main part (which I loved) however was editing and writing most of the articles, beauty reports and interviews that filled this one of a kind magazine.
